If you want chicken and sports this is the place to be! For years I have been getting the same thing, grilled chicken fingers with thick cut steak fries and a large sweet tea! I don't know what they do to the chicken but I've never been able to replicate the flavor. Also, their fried dill pickles and corn nuggets are awesome. JR's is very laid back and offers a full bar as well. Can't go wrong with that!

Wings wings wings!!! Even though the people I was there with go every Thursday and were shocked when I ordered anything other than wings, I tried the crab claws. And they were really good too. Get yourself a side of the house hot sauce and dip everything in there.

Not the friendliest place. Tiny mess of a beer selection that is way over priced. Can you call it a "Bar and Grill" if there is never anyone working at the bar to serve you? Felt like I was just giving them money; no pride in the food. My BLT literally had two slices of bacon on it. I asked for extra hot sauce for the pitiful wings in front of me and was promptly informed that it costs extra...no thanks.

I order the same thing each and every time I come here. The Hen House salad is delicious! It's a tortilla bowl filled with lettuce, grilled chicken, cheese, mushrooms, pineapple & onions. It comes with mandarin oranges on the side. Over the years I have occasionally tried the wings or chicken fingers, which are tasty, but I always go back to my fave! Prices are very reasonable & service is always friendly.

Arrived very high expectations. It must be a local thing. Left feeling the tab was a donation as far as I was concerned. I sat down and quickly asked if I wanted a drink. Any beers on tap? Bud Lite only. Did they have bottled beer. Yes (nothing else said). Are the beers listed on the menu? No (still nothing else). Pause ... Could you tell me what you have? Another pause ... What would you like? I've never had to play 20 questions and a guessing game for a beer before. Mebbe it was my motorcycle helmet. Then I ordered wings n fingers based on the reviews. Here come 5 sauces ... And 20 questions. What's the sauces? We call this tiger sauce and this one our special sauce. I finally got the tiger sauce was horse radish based after I tried it, said horseradish? And she said oh yeah that's what it is. But I never got what the special sauce was - guess they sorta trained for secrets at McD's. and then I tried the wings n fingers. Musta been yesterday's leftovers. I figured out they gave you a knife cuz the meat was so dry that you couldn't gnaw it off the bone. All in all, gotta try the local place once ... can't for the life of me find a reason to try it a second time. Oh the beer. Yep good beer and cold. But $5 a bottle (La Posada Mexican restaurant charges $3.75 for their premiums) and and the one and only draft was $3.75. The people were nice enough but between the 20 questions game to get a beer and lukewarm tough as cowhide wings, donated to the local economy ... once ... for 1 star.

Great place to get some chicken. I had the chicken and wing basket and the wings were delicious. I could taste a small bit of honey in the wings but whatever they put in their sauce is good! The fried chicken tenders were a bit greasy for my taste but I would come back again.
